Susan Weiss works in the visual arts in various capacities including painting, photography, and graphics. Her work explores the issues of personal identity and the psycho-social landscape of contemporary culture.

Her most recent project, Humanity in the Modern World, documents people doing humanitarian work in other countries. The first installment, CAMBODIA, features a California surgeon in a charity hospital in Phnom Penh. Moldova documents a dental mission for children and orphans in Moldova. Lesbos is a documentation of the refugee crisis in Lesbos, Greece, where Susan Weiss photographed on behalf of IsraAID, the humanitarian relief organization.
